Singing Exam

A couple of weeks ago I took my LCM Grade 5 Singing exam in bitesize. I sang 3 songs (Good Mornin, Im not that girl, and Burlington Bertie) and came out with a distinction, which I was extremely happy about! This is what the adjudicator had to say about my performances...

It says -

Burlington Bertie - A vital opening which you sustained to give Bert a sense of period and style. A secure vocal delivery. 23/25
Good Morning - You captured the mood through facial and vocal expression. Just relax the shoulders, to prevent tension. 21/25
Im not that girl - This contrasted well, a sensitive portrayal, which conveyed the emotions. Vocally clear and convincing. 26/30

Discussion - An understanding of songs and their background was expressed with thoughts on characters. 18/20

Overall - 88/100 Distinction

Now I know what I need to work on, I must relax my shoulders!!
